The Snowy Hydro Southcare helicopter responded to a call for help at 1.30pm after the child sustained head injuries.
A ten-year-old has been flown to Canberra Hospital for treatment after a snowboarding accident at Thredbo.
The helicopter landed at the scene just after 2pm and arrived at the hospital about 4pm.
An ACT Health spokesman said the boy was in a stable condition as of 11.30am Wednesday.
