GOLF GAMES
In Ken Ludwig’s farce The Fox on the Fairway, presented by Canberra Rep, the chairman of a golf club risks everything on a dangerously large bet and needs a champion golfer at short notice. The chaos that follows includes an engagement ring, a very expensive Ming vase, some quite repulsive golf outfits, wives both current and ex and a lot of running around the clubhouse. Theatre 3, 8pm. DECALOGUE ENDS
Decalogue, Nine +Decalogue, Ten (1989, M) are the last two films in Polish director Krzysztof Kieślowski’s series. The first is about a mismatched couple (Piotr Machalica and Ewa Błaszczyk) dealing with his impotence, the second about two oddly-matched brothers – rock musician Artur (Zbigniew Zamachowski) and the more conservative Jerzy (Jerzy Stuhr) – who become increasingly paranoid after they inherit their father’s stamp collection.

TWILIGHT MARKET
The Christmas Twilight Market at Belconnen Arts Centre from 1pm to 6pm will have a special focus on sustainability and the environment. Each stall holder has created work that is eco-friendly and often created from a mix of new, recycled and/or re-imagined materials, using environmentally sustainable processes. Products available will include: mixed media artworks, greeting cards and prints; macramé sculptures, dream catchers; ceramic tableware, decorations, figurines; glass, ceramic, titanium, niobium, sterling silver, porcelain, perspex, bamboo jewellery; paper beads; hand-made and printed textile products; decoupage glassware; rag carry bags; knitted, woven clothing, scarves, accessories, wraps, blankets, wine and food.

CELEBRATION

A CHRISTMAS GARDEN
The Focus Supported Living Foundation invites you to A Christmas Garden at the historic property, ’’Werriwa’’ at Bungendore on Sunday, November 24th from 10am to 4pm. This event is being held to raise funds to support people with intellectual disability living in the Canberra region. RECORDER CONCERT
The recorder is a very social instrument and comes in various sizes and shapes. A wide variety of music is written for it including many modern works. Canberra Recorder & Early Music Society (CREMS) was founded in 1974 and is a non-auditioned group of people of different ages from Canberra and the surrounding region, who love playing recorders together. It will be directed by Barbara Jerjen and the music will be both early and contemporary arranged for recorder orchestra and ensemble, and for seven different-sized recorders from the tiny sopranino to the very large contra-bass.

PLAY ON
Brindabella Orchestra presents its end of year concert. It will be conducted by Mitch de Jonge and will include pieces by Beethoven, Offenbach and Rossini.
