A street regenerated, but Lincoln Close still remembers 2003 bushfires

Driving through the sleepy streets around Lincoln Close in Chapman, it's hard to imagine the devastation that ripped through the street in just a few minutes on January 18, 2003. The quiet street that borders the Cooleman Ridge Nature Reserve still bears the marks of the fires that claimed four lives and damaged or destroyed more than 500 homes, but you have to look hard to see them.
