Sharlene Marie Martin, 30, pleaded not guilty to the attack outside the home in Harrison earlier this month.
Martin is accused of biting the lower part of the man's ear lobe off and repeatedly punching him, shortly after saying "I f---ing told you I'd get you".
The ear lobe was completely torn off, and had still not been reattached or put on ice two hours after the alleged attack, a court previously heard.
She has been denied bail on two occasions, but made a third attempt in the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday.
That third attempt required Martin to prove her circumstances had changed or that there was fresh evidence, before she was even able to begin the bail application.
But that hurdle was overcome when Martin entered pleas of not guilty, which the prosecution agreed meant a change of circumstances.
She was given bail on strict conditions, including a curfew and a ban on alcohol or drugs, after the court heard she may have had to wait a "significant period" in custody, between two to three years, before a trial in the ACT Supreme Court.
Magistrate Peter Morrison noted Martin's criminal history, which included two previous assaults, was not the worst he'd seen.
"In the whole scheme of things, it's not as bad as what we sometimes see in this jurisdiction," Mr Morrison said.
Martin will next appear in court in late May.
