Accused murderer Luigi Costa's protracted bid for bail will enter its fourth month, with his legal team securing another adjournment as they wait on medical tests.

Costa has pleaded not guilty to murdering his 89-year-old neighbour from across the road, Terrence Freebody, at the former's Mugga Way home in July.
Police responding to a triple-zero call from Costa discovered Mr Freebody's body on the dining room floor and Costa in a bathroom.
It is alleged Mr Freebody was stabbed with a knife.
Costa, 69, has been in custody since his arrest.
He made a bail application in the ACT Magistrates Court the next day, but the hearing has been repeatedly adjourned after concerns were raised about his mental health.
The defence team has requested an MRI and CT scan be performed on their client at the Alexander Maconochie Centre.
Costa claims to have no memory of the incident, and a psychiatric review has previously raised concerns he may have Alzheimer's-type dementia.
Barrister Shane Gill yesterday told magistrate Peter Dingwall part of the CT scan had been completed but more results were yet to come.
He sought an adjournment pending the outcome of the tests.
Prosecutor Anthony Williamson said the brief of evidence was ''coming along slowly but surely''.
Mr Dingwall granted the adjournment and postponed the bail application until November.
A committal hearing is listed for November 30.
