A man police say leads the Nomads bikie gang in Canberra will face court next month on firearms and drugs charges following a raid on his home on Thursday.

Mohammed Nchouki, 36, appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday on the charges but did not apply for bail.
Police say their anti-bikie Taskforce Nemesis found a gun, body armour, drugs and other prohibited weapons at Mr Nchouki's Calwell house.
Mr Nchouki did not enter pleas to charges of possessing a self-loading semi-automatic pistol, body armour, ammunition, cannabis, cocaine and prohibited weapons.
Defence counsel Tom Taylor, appearing for Mr Nchouki, asked Magistrate Robert Cook to adjourn the matter.
Mr Nchouki will return to the court on July 21.
