ACT Health delayed replacing main switchboard until after Canberra Hospital fire that caused evacuations

The ACT government delayed replacing the Canberra Hospital's ageing main switchboard for at least two years, signing a contract for the work days after a fire led to 60 people being evacuated from the hospital earlier this month.
