A police officer attempting to arrest a dangerous driver at a home in Kambah was bitten by a dog on Sunday evening.

ACT police were searching for a 23-year-old Macquarie woman who had failed to stop numerous times and had been driving dangerously.

They tracked her to the house in Kambah, where the officer was bitten during the arrest.
