The 82-year-old man, who has Alzheimer's, went missing about 8:30pm on Monday evening, walking towards the Waramanga shops.

Police held concerns for his welfare, but thanked the public for their assistance on Tuesday morning.
A family member said Gerard was found by a member of the public about midnight and dropped off at Woden police station.
He thanked ACT Policing for their efforts to locate Gerard.
