ACT Policing seek witnesses after Bonner and Mawson Woolworths stores robbed

ACT Policing is seeking the public's assistance to identify a man and woman involved in thefts from both the Mawson and Bonner Woolworths supermarkets.

Police say that at about 5.40pm on Saturday, February 24 a man and woman entered the Woolworths in Bonner and placed items into backpacks, including baby formula and vitamins, and left without paying for them. They fled in a blue sedan.

At about 1:39pm on Saturday, March 10 the same man and woman entered Woolworths, Mawson and placed items into a suitcase, including baby formula and vitamins. They left without paying.

Police say that as they left, the man threatened a staff member with a knife before both offenders fled in a black BMW sedan.

The man is described as having tattoos on his face and body with cuts on his face. He was wearing shorts, a singlet, a cap and sunglasses.

The woman was wearing a blue shirt and leggings. On both occasions her red dyed hair was worn in a ponytail.
