ACTEW released the salary figures after news in the company's annual report that Mr Sullivan left with a payout of $690,000, roughly equivalent to his annual salary. He also received $88,000 for long-service leave.
That was just one of a string of termination payments made this year, with deputy chief executive Ian Carmody leaving in February with a $419,000 pay-out plus $42,000 in long-service leave, chief financial officer Simon Wallace receiving $241,000 in termination pay and $56,000 in long-service leave, and company secretary Michele Norris receiving $324,000 and long-service leave of $60,000
Mr Sullivan was on a package of $855,000, but after controversy over the under-reporting of his pay in the 2011-12 annual report, he took a pay cut in March 2013. His new remuneration was $693,000, the same paid now to Mr Knox.
