Yong Chuean Benedict Ang, 21, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of committing an act of indecency on the alleged victim earlier this month.
His bail was continued in the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.
At the request of his lawyer, John Harris, SC, the court deleted a condition that Ang report to police every Saturday.
The court heard Ang had already handed over his passport to authorities.
Mr Harris said his client was a member of the Singaporean military and had been studying at the Academy, but was now living off campus.
The case is due back in court for a case management hearing in August.
