A 52-year-old AFP protective services officer has been arrested for stalking after acting suspiciously outside an O’Connor residence on Saturday morning, police say.

Police said a member of the public reported the suspicious behaviour about 9.30am.
Officers from the City Police Station attended the location and arrested the man following inquiries. He was taken to the ACT Watch House.
The 52-year-old will face the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday charged with stalking. An internal investigation by AFP Professional Standards has also been launched.
