A fresh batch of ambulance officers was welcomed into the ranks of the ACT Ambulance Service in Hume on Thursday.
Twenty-two graduates were welcomed to the service during a special ceremony, watched on by Emergency Services Minister Simon Corbell.
"Today's graduates are fully equipped and will continue working in the most trusted profession in the community," Mr Corbell said.
"Ensuring continued public safety to the community is a priority for the ACT government and today's graduation is evidence of the ongoing commitment to supporting the ambulance service by strengthening its ranks in response to increased demand."
Students from three qualification levels graduated; non-emergency patient transport, ambulance paramedic and intensive care paramedic.
Graduates also demonstrated some of their advanced new skills in front of family and friends at the ceremony.
