Just last fortnight the Heads of Asbestos Coordination Authorities in NSW confirmed a Queanbeyan home had been confirmed to contain Mr Fluffy as part of an independent investigation into loose fill asbestos in NSW.
The latest discovery brings the total number of affected homes across NSW to 61.
As of March 12, 2,186 premises across 26 Local Council areas have registered for the free sampling service. Of these, 1,284 properties have been tested with 1,280 samples determined to not contain asbestos.
