Dr Ammar Dhaimat, 39, appeared before the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday on charges of committing an act of indecency.
The Belconnen GP is alleged to have squeezed a patient's bottom and kissed her without consent at a northside medical centre on Anzac Day.
He has subsequently been suspended from practising medicine.
Dr Dhaimat, of O’Malley, was granted bail in May under strict conditions, including he provide a $20,000 surety, surrender his passports, report to Woden police each day and not leave his Canberra residence between 7pm and 7am.
On Wednesday, the GP’s defence lawyer, Michael Kukulies-Smith, had his client’s curfew and reporting conditions relaxed.
His curfew now runs between midnight and 7am and the timeframe to report each day has been extended.
The court heard the prosecution needed more time to work on the brief of evidence.
The matter was relisted for mention in August.
