At about 9.40pm on Thursday a 20-year-old woman walking on Daley Street was grabbed from behind and pinned to a wall. A man attempted to indecently assault her, but she broke free and ran.
There were two similar incidents on October 12, when a man indecently assaulted two other women , first grabbing them from behind.
All three women provided similar descriptions.
The alleged offender on Thursday was of Caucasian appearance in his late teens or early 20s, of average build and about 173 centimetres tall. He wore grey tracksuit pants, a striped rugby jersey and a khaki, army-style flat hat.
Last month the alleged offender was captured on CCTV footage in the car park of Rydges Lakeside hotel wearing a dark coloured hoodie and dark pants.
ACT Policing has urged people living in or visiting Acton to be aware of their safety. Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers.
