The 16-year-old will present six workshops in Floriade’s Inspiration Hub on October 4 and 5 as part of Family Fun Week.
Returning for the 27th year, this Floriade's theme is ''embrace passion'', and the young wildlife warrior will appear at the flower show to spread her passion for nature.
“I hope that everyone who attends Floriade develops an even stronger connection with nature, and that the experience leads them to wanting to make positive change for wildlife and wild places,” she said.
“These changes will not only benefit wildlife, but ultimately human beings too.”
Family Fun week runs from September 29 to October 5, encompassing school holidays in the ACT, NSW and Victoria, and features a range of activities aimed specifically at children.
Irwin, who will be joined in Canberra by mother Terri and younger brother Robert, has made a name for herself internationally in the past few years as a wildlife advocate and an actress, also appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and Oprah.
In June this year, the teenager made headlines when she made comments criticising the dress sense of some other girls her age.
While Irwin had previously been most commonly seen in khakis, she's increasingly experimenting with fashion, which she shows off to her almost 100,000 Instagram followers.
Floriade is on at Commonwealth Park from September 13 – October 12. Visit floriadeaustralia.com.
