Staff were still in the process of moving in as Mary Giberti arrived at new Centenary Hospital for Women and Children to give birth to her third child.

At 4.15PM on Tuesday, 2.8kg Liera Giberti became the first baby to born in the $111 million hospital.
Mrs Giberti initially thought she would give birth in the old Canberra Hospital maternity unit but when she phoned ahead was told to go to the new centre.
Mrs Giberti and her husband Alberto arrived at 9.30am as staff were busily moving patients from the old maternity unit.
"We were in one room and then had to be moved into another room because there was stuff being moved in and out," Mr Giberti said.
Mrs Giberti said they had not been inconvenienced by what was going on.
"We went for a walk because they were moving beds but it was exciting," she said.
The Gibertis already have two sons – 11-year-old Aidan and six-year-old Lucas.
Mrs Giberti gave birth to Lucas in the old maternity unit.
The family were impressed by the facilities n the new hospital but looking forward to taking Liera home.
"The boys want her home already," Mr Giberti said.
Stage one of the new hospital includes permanent homes for the postnatal and antenatal/gynaecolgy wards, neonatal intensive care unit. Special care nursery, birth centre and paediatrics day stay.
Some other services have had to be moved to temporary locations while the old maternity unit is rebuilt to as part of Stage Two of the hospital.
