Police have used blood to link a Cook man to a robbery at a Civic massage business last month, a court has heard.

Jason Thompson, 30, is accused of the violent raid at the Royal Hands Massage shop at the Canberra Centre that left an employee with a deep gash in her right forearm.
Thompson was arrested in Kingston on Wednesday and charged with aggravated robbery for the June 7 heist.
He appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday on a string of charges, which also included driving while disqualified in an unregistered, uninsured car, from alleged incidents in March and May.
He has not yet entered pleas.
Court documents allege Thompson entered the store about 5.15pm and took cash from the drawer at the front counter, while a second man stood watch outside.
But a staff member interrupted the theft and grabbed the robber as he attempted to flee.
The offender allegedly punched and kicked the woman during the struggle, before she fell to the ground and he escaped with about $530.
The court heard the staff member was left with a deep gash to her right forearm.
Police crime scene investigators discovered blood droplets at the scene and on the staff member's jumper.
Court documents said a DNA profile of the blood matched Thompson's, with the result being 100 billion times more likely to be his than another unknown, unrelated person selected at random from the Australian Caucasian sub-population.
Thompson applied for bail when he appeared in court on Thursday, a move opposed by the prosecution on the ground he posed a risk of reoffending and a danger to the community.
Thompson's Legal Aid ACT lawyer argued her client had no convictions for failure to appear before court on his criminal history, was not currently subject to court or parole orders, and had strong links to the territory.
Magistrate Peter Morrison knocked back Thompson's bid for freedom on the ground he posed a flight risk.
The magistrate said Thompson's links to the territory were weak as he had no fixed address or job.
Mr Morrison noted Thompson had a long criminal history, with convictions for driving, assault, weapons, property damage, and dishonesty.
He said the information before the court indicated a strong prosecution case, which would attract a jail sentence if proven, and could be an incentive to flee the jurisdiction.
The magistrate declined to hear submissions from the prosecution and remanded Thompson in custody to reappear later this month.
