An Olympic boxer who punched a truck driver in a road rage spat in Fyshwick has failed to show up for sentencing because he did not read his mail for the past three months, a court has heard.

Adam Tony Forsyth, 33, was due to appear before Justice Hilary Penfold on Wednesday for sentencing over the 2007 assault.
The confrontation took place after the truck driver beeped at him as he tried unsuccessfully to park a car on Wollongong Street, Fyshwick.
The heavyweight boxer, who was a quarter-finalist in the Athens Olympics, responded to the truck's horn with a middle finger, and the pair got out of their vehicles.
The boxer landed a number of blows to the man's head, causing a broken nose, substantial bruising and a chipped tooth.
He had argued he was acting in self-defence, but that defence was rejected by Justice Penfold, who found him guilty last year after a trial.
Forsyth, who lives interstate, was expected to be sentenced in the ACT Supreme Court on Wednesday morning. But the boxer failed to show up.
The court heard Forsyth had failed to open his mail for the past three months, and had not known about the court date.
Justice Penfold said she would re-list the sentencing for next month, but warned an arrest warrant would be issued if he did not turn up. Forsyth did not appear for the judgment in the case last year either.
