No one was injured when the blaze broke out in a restaurant on the ground floor of the building.
Fire crews were alerted by an automatic fire alarm in the restaurant. Firefighters contained the fire to the restaurant and are on scene and ventilating the affected area.
A spokeswoman for the ESA said the fire started in the restaurant's kitchen, with the blaze being accidental.
The restaurant has suffered extensive smoke damage and will remain closed and until clean-up operations have been completed.
