A man armed with a knife has robbed a small Braddon supermarket on Tuesday in what is the fifth Canberra robbery in three weeks.

On Thursday, Police released CCTV footage of a man threatening an employee with a knife inside the Lowana Street store about 6pm, demanding cash.
The worker handed over the cash and the offender fled towards Northbourne Avenue.
The man is described as of Caucasian appearance and tall with a slim build. He was wearing a maroon or purple hooded jumper, with a face covering and sunglasses.
ACT Policing and the AFP Forensic Service attended the scene and found an empty bag the offender dropped during the robbery. Police will forensically examine the bag.
ACT Policing is also seeking CCTV footage.
The Braddon incident is the fifth aggravated robbery in the capital in three weeks and the fourth involving at least one knife.
Just a day earlier a man carrying a large knife robbed a city convenience store and threatened a staff member.
