Canberra's emergency services have been kept busy overnight, with ACT Fire and Rescue responding to two residential fires, and assisting with storm damage, while rural firefighters battle three separate forest fires in the ACT's south.

The busy night began with 15 calls to the ACT State Emergency Service for help following an afternoon storm in Canberra's north.
Most jobs related to trees falling across roads and property, with only minor damage reported.
Later in the evening, fire crews were called to a unit fire in residential accommodation at the University of Canberra in Bruce on Sunday.
Emergency services were alerted after a passer-by noticed smoke and flames coming from the Cooinda Street building about 8.46pm.
Firefighters arrived to find the building vacant and heavily smoke logged with all four stove stop elements in the common kitchen area turned on. The block of six units sustained smoke and heat damage. Police have been called in to investigate.
Crews were then called to a house fire on Antill Street in Watson shortly after 10pm, where the body of a man was discovered. Police are investigating.
Meanwhile, the ACT Rural Fire Service are on high alert after spending the weekend fighting multiple fires in Namadgi National Park.
Over 100 firefighting personnel have been involved in the Namadgi operations, with overnight crews being replaced with fresh crews from 7am.
