Cabinet rejected Currong warnings in 2004 in speed to sell the block, cabinet documents reveal

The redevelopment of the Currong apartments in the city was so high on the government's agenda in 2004 that it rejected warnings from the Chief Minister's Department that going ahead without planning changes would limit how much people were prepared to bid.
