Canberra bikie arrested at Sydney casino

A Canberran member of the Finks bikie gang was arrested at a Sydney casino on Saturday, after allegedly threatening to assault a police officer.

Police were called to the Star City Casino in Pyrmont about midnight Saturday.

The casino’s security had raised concerns that members of two different outlaw motorcycle gangs, the Comancheros and the Finks, were at the venue.

Officers attached to Strike Force Raptor - a NSW Police squad set up in 2009 to target bikie gangs - arrived at the scene and spoke with four Finks.

They allege one of the bikies, a 27-year-old from Canberra, threatened to assault a constable.

He was arrested and charged with intimidate police and offensive conduct.

The Canberra man has been bailed, and will appear at Downing Centre Local Court on February 22.

Three Comancheros bikies were also spoken to, and one allegedly used offensive language.

The 31-year-old is expected to be brought before the court at a later date for offensive language.
