Residents of Canberra's inner north and south will have to leave their garbage bins out over the weekend yet again with another garbage truck drivers' strike called for Friday.
This will be the fourth time Canberra's garbage collectors have striked on a Friday, as wage negotiations continue between the Transport Workers' Union and contractor Suez.
Friday appears to be the preferred day for the strikes to take place, with drivers able to collect the rubbish that was missed over Saturday and Sunday.
With no end to the industrial action in sight, the ACT Government again will allow residents to dispose of up to two bags of excess household waste for free at both the Mitchell and Mugga Lane Resource Management Centres from July 8-14.
Recyclable materials from can be dropped-off for free at the six regional recycling drop-off centres.
Proof of address will be required.
Residents from the following suburbs should leave their bins out on the kerb from Friday as catch-up collections will take place on the weekend:

- Braddon*
- Campbell*
- City
- Deakin*
- Dickson
- Downer
- Duntroon*
- Oaks Estate*
- Forrest*
- Franklin
- Griffith*
- Hackett
- Harrison
- Red Hill*
- Hughes*
- Kingston*
- Lyneham (south of Ginninderra Drive)
- Narrabundah*
- O'Connor
- Pialligo*
- Reid*
- Turner
- Watson
- Yarralumla*
