A woman who says she had a knife held to her throat as her attacker stripped her of jewellery and threatened to rip her daughter's eyes out has spoken of her continuing anxiety and flashbacks of the man's face and voice.

The victim recalled being so scared she slept in a wardrobe the night Steven James Thompson, 39, robbed her after they had spent several days consuming the drug ice together at her Richardson home.
A jury last year found Thompson, 38, guilty of aggravated robbery, burglary, unlawful confinement, theft, and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
He has maintained his innocence and his defence lawyer, Jacob Robertson, said his client still "vehemently disagrees" with the jury's verdict when he faced the ACT Supreme Court for sentencing on Wednesday.
Thompson was on parole for earlier crimes when he met the woman in December 2014.
She gave evidence at trial that she saw Thompson on her neighbour's property, passing goods back over the fence, the day of the attack.
The woman said he then put the goods in her car, and the pair later drove to a unit that belonged to Thompson's friend.
While they were there he demanded she hand over her handbag and take off her jewellery.
Prosecutors alleged Thompson put a knife to her throat and face.
"He said he'd rip my daughter's eyes out and that I could dig the hole that she was going in," she said.
Defence lawyers for Thompson argued that the woman fabricated her evidence, which was riddled with inconsistencies and contradictions, to shift blame for the burglary of her neighbour's home away from her.
Thompson cried and wiped his eyes as the woman read a victim impact statement in court on Wednesday.
The woman said she was emotional and stressed and felt her privacy had been invaded in her own home.
"I have flashbacks where I see his face and hear his voice when I don't want to. Nothing will change that."
She said her anxiety had worsened after the incident and she was too scared to leave the house alone or attend social events.
The woman also claimed she "freezes" when she watched her children cut meat with a knife.
But those statements were challenged by Mr Robertson, who suggested the woman was exaggerating.
She said: "When I looked at him and he had a knife to my throat, he wanted to do it."
Mr Robertson told the court Thompson had already been in custody more than 500 days since he was remanded on the charges and felt he was institutionalised.
He had been in and out of jail for the past 17 years and his offending arose out of a long-standing drug habit he claimed helped him cope with abuse he experienced as a child, the court was told.
Justice Hilary Penfold said offenders who experienced childhood trauma, particularly when it led to violent behaviour later in life, presented a "double-edged sword" and it was not necessarily a reason for leniency.
Crown prosecutor Sam McLaughlin said Thompson's "extensive criminal history" meant an increased measure of specific deterrence should be taken into account in his sentence.
Justice Penfold will hand down her sentence next month.
The court heard an appeal over Thompson's convictions was on foot.
