Settle in to your first night with a long dinner at The Waterhouse Jervis Bay in the heart of Huskisson. A local tip is to ask to be seated in the front restaurant's dining room and deck to get the full dining experience. A favourite among locals, the restaurant extends out the back where you can relax and enjoy a drink at the bar well into the night.
Saturday 8am
One of the best ways to savour the natural beauty of Jervis Bay is on foot. The White Sands Walk is an easy, hour-long walk across some of the whitest sands in the world, past unspoilt and secluded bays and beaches. Along the way, you may be lucky enough to see kangaroos that inhabit the dense bushland.
Saturday 11am
Along your morning walk there are a number of safe havens for some incredible water snorkelling. Dive Jervis Bay offers shore and boat snorkelling with provided refreshments, and for the more daring you can also try Dive's boat dives and dive charters and swim through multi-level, rocky-reef topography and bubble caves.
Saturday 1pm
Drop into Jervis Bay Bike Hire and pick a bicycle from its hire range. We recommend the Cruiser bike, a retro-style comfortable ride perfect for a casual afternoon of exploring the town.
Ride to the iconic Husky Bakery for a bite to eat or head to the Lady Denman Markets, held on the first Saturday of every month, where you can buy fresh produce as well as local treats including candles, clothing, second-hand books, jewellery and more.
Saturday 3pm
Before the sun goes down make sure you squeeze in time for dolphin and whale watching on one of the many cruises available. The Jervis Bay whale watching season is one of the longest in NSW and provides some of the best calm water viewing to be had. If you're lucky you might even spot a seal or penguin.

Enjoy a pizza for dinner at Faro Bianco Italian Restaurant, where authentic Italian dishes including traditional wood-fired pizzas are given a modern twist and made fresh on the premises daily.
Saturday 8pm
A trip to Jervis Bay is not complete without seeing a late-night movie at the iconic Huskisson Pictures. The building was constructed in 1913 as a community hall and began screening movies in the early 50's.
Sunday 9am
Start your last day with a hearty breakfast at Supply Jervis Bay, a cafe, deli and fresh produce market. Enjoy astonishing views while savouring a delicious classic breakfast with a coffee, fresh juice and a house-made cake or dessert.
On your way out pick up some fresh gourmet goodies for an outdoor picnic at Supply's grocer and deli. It's hard to pass its luscious range of chutneys, jams, fruits, breads, dips and oils.
Sunday 11am
Send the kids off to a surf lesson at JB Surf School with local surfing guru Jerry Brown, while parents can escape to see the beauty of the marine environment below in a different way by trying stand-up paddling. The 90-minute lesson and tour along beautiful clear waters by Jervis bay Stand Up Paddle offers an experience like no other that is said to be easier than it looks, and great fun.
Sunday 1pm
Explore the pristine wilderness of Booderee National Park, a place of outstanding natural beauty owned by the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community. The park is also home to more than 200 species of birds and 30 species of native mammals, so wildlife watching at the historic Cape St George Lighthouse is a must-do.
Sunday 4pm
From the National Park, finish your trip with a walk over to Green Patch to savour an outdoor barbecue lunch or indulge in the picnic packed earlier with a delectable wine, taking in all the views, smells and sounds of Jervis Bay's natural wonders.
