The heavy metal icon will play AIS Arena on Monday October 23 as part of the seven-date tour that also visits Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane.
Cooper pioneered a theatrical brand of hard rock and is most well-known for his songs I'm Eighteen, No More Mr Nice Guy, School's Out, and Poison.
The tour marks the 40th anniversary of Cooper's first Australian tour in 1977, when he broke all existing attendance records. He has continued to tour Down Under over the years, and this will be his 13th tour of Australia.
Age hasn't slowed the rocker down and now 69, Cooper continues to tour, with planned shows in the US, Europe and Japan, and is also working on a new album.
Cooper will be joined on tour by former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley, complete with his smoking guitar.
