Angela, the founder and director of hugely successful kids party business Enchanted Canberra, is on a serious recruitment drive to find young men to round out her lineup of characters for children's events.

She already has a huge cast of Disney princesses and is now looking for Canberrans to play Avengers and "old school" superheroes.

Roles up for grabs include Batman (you'll need to have the gravelly voice), Superman (chiselled jaw), Iron Man (good working in extreme heat) and Hulk (ideally you have an abdomen that doesn't require you to wear a fake, padded six-pack).

Jokes aside, the only skills you actually need to have include a love for kids and to "know how to have fun".

Ladies - if you missed out on the chance to play a Disney pricess in Angela's last recruitment round, there is a very special female role now up for grabs - Wonder Woman. Angela is also looking for "darker souls" to play a series of Disney villains, including Ursula the Sea Witch, Maleficent and Snow White's Evil Queen.

Business is booming for Angela and the Enchanted Canberra team, with up to eight characters appearing at parties every weekend. The team is solidly booked until the end of August.
