Fairfax Media can reveal Nitro Circus's 2018 global The Next Level tour will premiere in Canberra in March next year, the first stop on a tour that will take in eight Australian cities before hitting Europe and the US.
And for the first time ever, the show will star a Canberran.
Motocross champion Harry Bink, 23, who won gold at the Nitro world games in early July, is joining The Next Level tour in 2018.
Bink won gold for performing the world's first ever front-flip on a motorbike, a stunt Pastrana described as "the hardest trick attempted in Nitro world games history".
"Harry's just incredible and looking forward to performing in front of his home crowd," Pastrana said.
"And I have to say that Australians are hands-down the best actions sports athletes in the world right now.
"What's unique about our sport is there are no coaches, there's no-one that's really done this stuff before so the guys that are the best in the world are creating all of their own stunts and just forging the way ahead.
"It's kind of like art for crazy people, with all due respect."
Nitro Circus started in 2003, with founders Jeremy Rawle, Gregg Godfrey and Pastrana performing motorbike stunts for DVDs they sold out of a garage in Utah.
In the 14 years since, the "action sports entertainment company" has exploded to global popularity, thanks mostly to the Nitro Circus MTV series which aired in more than 60 countries.
The Next Level tour will unite the world's best skaters, rollerbladers, and BMX and motocross riders.
Pastrana said his challenge between now and heading to Canberra was to find more motocross riders game enough to hit the world's biggest ramp.
"Our first step is to figure out who's actually willing to hit this ramp and who can do stuff that's never been done before," he said.
"They're going to have to go higher, they're going to have to be willing to risk more, but at the same time, they have more air time to be able to do more.
"The double backflip was always the big bang moment in our previous shows, but that's just the warm-up for this new ramp."
