The duo has been behind the annual Canberra Global Illumination Pink Dinner for the past decade, during which they've raised $1.1 million for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

"It was just great to be recognised for what the whole committee has done over the past 10 years," said Walshe.
Walshe and his hot pink, three-piece suit, complete with fuchsia satin vest, has been the star of the fundraising dinner, which started at Floriade in a marquee in 2006, before moving to Albert Hall for one year, then at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra ever since.
