Canberra members of the Australian Monarchists League are counting down the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's second child.
The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is due to give birth to her second child in hospital in London at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington.
The worldwide media is camped outside the hospital waiting for the news of the new prince or princess's arrival.
Chairman of the league's ACT and region branch Matthew Sait said the arrival of Prince George in 2013 was a highlight and plans were underway to celebrate the newest addition to the royal family.
"All our members and friends are going to get together next Friday to celebrate," he said.
"There was great excitement about George, being next in line and someone we can expect to be our king one day. Whereas this next baby is going to be very important member serving Australia, the royal family and the monarchy."
It's still very much a guessing game as to the baby's sex and what name will be chosen.
Fleur Wimborne said a healthy newborn was the priority but she had high hopes for a princess.
"A girl would be nice to balance things out," she said. "I havent heard of any front-running names just yet. I would think it will be drawn from the standard pool of royal names that work very well."
Mr Sait said for a girl he favoured Elizabeth and for a boy perhaps Philip.
"I think the Prince and Princess really value tradition and that lineage," he said. "Royal children often have many given names so there is great opportunity to honour many members of the royal family."
With the arrival of Prince George, the league sent congratulations to the royal couple and will do so again when the little boy or girl is born.

And while royal enthusiasts had to be patient for the details of this new royal to be unveiled, he said a few things were certain.
"As they grow up they will go through all the regular things children do but through all of the growing up process they will be taught their responsibilities," Mr Sait said.
"They will learn the importance of duty and service to the country and of the whole tradition they belong to."
