TRUFFLE FESTIVAL Canberra's truffle season is in full swing, with the festival running until the end of August. There's local black truffles on the menu at restaurants around town, plus special dinners, events, cooking classes and of course hunts with the dogs to unearth truffles. SCAVENGER HUNT Get to know Canberra in a whole new way on a scavenger hunt. Think 'Amazing Race meets Treasure Hunt meets walking-tour-on-Red-Bull'. There are two hunts; Saturday and Sunday, 1-4pm. 8pm LAWRENCE LEUNG After selling out at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Lawrence Leung's new show Very Strange Things is coming to Canberra for the first time. The sceptical comedian goes on an interactive look at the paranormal and questions whether ESP is alive and well between sympathetic people with a show featuring experiments, mind games and coincidences.
