Canberra's ONTHEGO clothes on David Jones' hangers after teaming with Jason Dundas

A million dollar sportswear company which started in a Canberra shed several years ago now has a clothing range in David Jones stores. 

Entrepreneur Mick Spencer's ONTHEGO  - a custom made sportswear maker established in the ACT - has teamed up with international TV personality Jason Dundas to launch DundasFit "active wear".

The versatile range of shorts, singlets, tank tops, compression wear and sweaters went on DJ's hangers this month.

Former David Jones chief executive and managing director Paul Zahra introduced Mr Spencer to Mr Dundas - known for his jobs on MTV and Entertainment Tonight - a year ago.

"It's a big step for a company not even five years old to be in Australia's most recognised department store, and it's just the beginning of the next phase of growth," Mr Spencer said. 

"We want to grow our brand experience spread across a multiple amount of chanels, from online where we came from, to in-store, and beyond.

"We've gained solid market share ... now it's time to take the brand to the masses."

He said public servants were a perfect target audience, as well as any male who wants a value priced garment that they can use for multiple activities.

"The line is aimed at the Aussie male who wants to be able to wear a garment from the moment he walks out, into the café, office and back home. 

"Typically a guy would have a workout range, an office round, a leisure range. 

"With this line, you can literally use it for every application and it's totally acceptable.

"Health and fashion conscious males are our main target, and those who are price sensitive, this line is perfect."
