“The excitement around this brew has been next level,” Kain said. “The people have asked for it in droves, and we’re pleased to be able to share this ‘bloody’ great drop further afield.”

Hang Loose Juice is a blood orange New England India Pale Ale (NEIPA). The first, small-batch, keg-only release won many fans and accolades including Best IPA at The Australian Beer Festival and placed 97th in the country’s most influential people’s choice poll the GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beers – an impressive result for a batch of only 60 kegs tried by a fraction of the 155,000 voters in the poll.

Weighing in at 6 per cent, the beer is crammed full of blood orange juice and late addition Galaxy, Mosaic and El Dorado hops resulting in a brew that tastes like a glass of freshly squeezed juice with hints of passionfruit, and pineapple.

“This beer has more of everything,” says head brewer Wade Hurley. “It’s double dry hopped with more hops and more fruit than we’ve ever used in any other beer. True to style it pours hazy and a lovely golden colour.”

The brewery’s social media pages have been inundated with requests for the brew since announcing its release last week, and with only a limited number of cases available and most outlets putting a limit of one or two four packs per customer, Hurley encouraged fans to get in quick.

“Judging by the response we don’t expect stocks to last more than a week or two. We should’ve made more,” he said.
