Super Best Friends have been pestering Canberra live music fans for almost a decade, outlasting many a venue and fine local band that quit while they were ahead. It's never getting ahead that has prevented the Besties from quitting, but after all these years, there's finally a full-length Super Best Friends album sitting on the hallowed shelves of Landspeed Records.
The debut vinyl release Status Updates was produced by Shihad's Tom Larkin and features 11 new tracks, laid down by the new Besties line-up. Former Los Capitanes and Templestowe drummer Jesse Sewell is now pounding away up the back for SBF, while providing some meaty high notes and harmonies on the mic.
To win, answer this question: Name the two prime ministers in Matt Roberts' Super Best Friends music video for Round & Round.
