Ecologist Thea O'Loughlin was born and lived in Melbourne until June 2014 when she moved to Albury to undertake flora and fauna surveys on farmland and travelling stock reserves. This work was for the ANU as part of long-term biodiversity monitoring studies. She moved to Canberra in March this year to continue her work with the ANU and because her partner, ecologist Luke O'Loughlin, also began working there.
