September 5: In an ANU/Canberra Times Meet the Author event, Indonesian political commentator and writer, Goenawan Mohamad and his translator, Jennifer Lindsay will be in conversation with Emeritus Professor James Fox, about Goenawan's new book, In Other Words, a volume of essays, from 1968 to 2014 on Indonesian politics and culture, in the Australian Centre on China in the World, Fellows Road, ANU, at 6pm. September 6-16: Poetry on the Move is a festival hosted by the University of Canberra, featuring more than 50 poets from Australia and abroad. Poets in residence are Simon Armitage (Britain) and Tusiata Avia (New Zealand). All events are free but booking is essential:ipsi.org.au.
