Tables Available for 2017 Independent Publishing Fair
Noted Writers Festival's Independent Publishing Fair is back for its second year and tables are available upon request. In 2016, the fair showcased more than 50 independent publishers and creators, selling their goods including zines, magazines, books, comics, albums, postcards,postcards, artworks and merchandise. The 2017 Publishing Fair will take place on May 7. Tables will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. Applications close on March 5. February 28: Canadian author Madeleine Thien will discuss her whose recent book, Do Not Say We Have Nothing, which was shortlisted for the 2016 Man Booker Prize for Literature. The novel is about the far-reaching effects of China's revolutionary history, told through the stories of two interlinked musical families, from the 1940s to the present.
