S. K. Kelen's poem, Soldiers, has been shortlisted for the 2017 Montreal International Poetry Award. Fifty poems were selected out of 2200 entries from 70 countries. September 16: As part of the 2017 Poetry on the Move Festival, the International Poetry Studies Institute (IPSI) presents four international poets for a reading at Gorman Arts Centre. IPSI's two poets in residence, Vahni Capildeo (Britain) and Glyn Maxwell (Britain) are joined by two contemporary Japanese poets, Keijiro Suga and Hiromi Ito, celebrating the "Boundary Crossings'' theme.
