The label's designer Yumi Morrissey uses her own photos shot around Canberra to design fabrics for each of her collections. Previous collections have featured Parliament House, The Canberra Times fountain in Civic, and autumn leaves.

This time around, Morrissey's photos of the National Museum of Australia, the National Film and Sound Archive and the Torsional Wave sculpture outside Questacon have been turned into patterns and printed on fabric.

This collection was taken to fit the theme, 'Canberra at nighttime', and Morrissey said she just went driving around late at night looking for buildings that had lights projected on them.

"We drove to the Film and Sound Archive and I didn't realise it's permanently lit up with rainbow lights all across the front, which was really nice," said Morrissey.

"So that ended up being one of the photos, cause I straight away knew that the colour would make a really good print. And there's some really cool details on the outside of the building, it's got these embossed patterns on the outside which made some really cool shadows."

Also making the cut was a photo of the Museum all lit up.

"It's a really cool building anyway but at night time it looks totally different because you've got the lights highlighting that orange wall at the front, but everything else kind of goes black. So it creates this really interesting shadows and shapes at the entrance," she said.

"The museum [print] makes sort of an 'X' shaped pattern in the orange, so it's a cool pattern, but then when you look closely you can see there's the front doors of the museum and the wall as you go in. So if you look a bit closer you can find the detail."

While the previous collections have only included dresses, this collection has the addition of a jacket and skirts, with the skirts proving a popular addition. Senator Katy Gallagher was one of the first to snap one up with the museum print to wear to a function at the museum itself.
