The Veronicas cancel Canberra appearance at Woden

Australian pop duo The Veronicas have cancelled all Westfield in-store performances for 2014, including the upcoming event at Westfield Woden.

The Westfield performances were set to be a "sneak peak" of their upcoming tour, performing hits from their new self-titled album released last month.

The cancellation means Canberra fans won't get to see the duo perform in the capital. The Veronicas will tour to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne Brisbane and Sydney in February.

Westfield Woden received the news late Wednesday, for the concert due to happen next Saturday. A spokeswoman for Westfield Woden said at this stage there will be no replacement.

Sony Music Australia announced the performances were cancelled across all stores "due to unforseen  circumstances".

Since releasing their first single in 2005, The Veronicas have sold more than three million records worldwide.

Their chart-topping single Untouched was the first Australian hit since Kylie Minogue's Can't get you out of my head to achieve top 20 status of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2007.
