The capital is getting two back-to-back days of free ice cream.
On Friday, July 31, the Green Shed and In the City Canberra host Free Gelato Day, handing out free gelato and free rides on the carousel in Garema Place.
They also promise face painting, jumping castles and other free activities.
The event runs from 10am to 6pm.
On Saturday, August 1, Swiss ice cream maker Movenpick celebrates Switzerland's national day by handing out free scoops of ice cream in a range of flavours at the Canberra Centre while stocks last.
It'll be at a pop-up store on the upper level of the shopping centre outside Michael Hill Jewellers and Big W.
That event runs from 11am-4pm.
