The original venue, Stage 88 at Commonwealth park, is expected to be flooded due to substantial rain on Saturday.
The walk will still start at 11am, with dog party games and other live entertainment back at Rond Terrance afterwards.
Despite the rain in the lead up, Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny with a maximum of 18 degrees.
