A father who allegedly murdered his eight-year-old son in the Canberra suburb of Jacka on Monday night has faced court this morning.
Graham Dillon, 37 of Jacka, entered the courtroom looking stunned and did not sit at the bar table with his Legal Aid duty lawyer.
He entered no plea to the charge of murdering his young son, Bradyn, and made no application for bail.
No pleas were entered to those charges either.
No other details about the horrific allegations emerged from the court appearance, and the case has been adjourned until March 1.
The father will remain in custody at the Alexander Maconochie Centre.
The Director of Public Prosecutions is preparing to apply to suppress the names of the victims, and by extension the offender, in the ACT Magistrates Court.
