Youth mentoring organisation Menslink has been fined $2500 for allowing Education Minister Joy Burch's son, on bail for aggravated robbery at the time, into schools without a Working with Vulnerable People card.
Lloyd Burch, 21, visited Canberra high schools to talk to teenage boys last year with Menslink's Silence is Deadly program, which aims to reduce aimed at reducing youth suicide.

He was told his rugby career was over and could have died during a rugby match but Ita Vaea says he will "never doubt myself" as he prepares to make a remarkable Super Rugby comeback during Friday night's season opener against the Queensland Reds at Canberra Stadium.
It comes more than two years after scans found life-threatening blood clots on his heart and he was put on blood-thinning medication that limited his physical activity to walking around the block at "a granny's pace".

When the Farmhouse restaurant at Pialligo Estate opens on Friday night it'll be one more step in John Russell and Rowan Brennan's vision of a rural idyll close to the heart of Canberra.
The rustic-style restaurant features patios with big fireplaces, and outdoor private dining pavilions amid formal gardens created by acclaimed landscape designer Paul Bangay.
The restaurant is surrounded by vegetable market gardens, orchards filled with ornamental fruit trees and a vineyard - all of which produce food for a seasonal menu.
