Visitors to Mike Bresnik's Karabar home have often admired the sweeping views from the front and rear verandahs.
That's one of the reasons he and his wife Maryanne will consider the NSW government's offer to knock down the Mr Fluffy house that has been their home for nearly three decades and rebuild on the same site.

Former Queensland forward Scott Sattler believes recalled Maroon Josh Papalii can provide the aggression Queensland needs in next Wednesday's State of Origin decider, urging the Canberra Raiders hitman to make putting David Klemmer back in his box his personal mission.

9.08am: That crash on the Barton Highway in Gungahlin was between a car and a motorcyclist but the motorcyclist is ok, emergency services say. Those vehicles are expected to be cleared from the road soon, in the meantime one city-bound lane is closed.
8.50am: Emergency services are on their way to a car crash at the Gungahlin Drive and Barton Highway intersection.
The southbound and northbound inner lanes of the Monaro Highway, between Pialligo Avenue and Ski Lane (the Water Ski Club access road) are temporarily closed to allow for construction of the southbound Monaro Highway on-ramp associated with the Majura Parkway project.
