The woman was driving in Palmerston when police pulled the car over about 9.45pm and a check found the woman to be a disqualified driver.
She was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House, where police say officers then found a trafficable quantity of methamphetamine on her body and a sum of cash, believed to be the proceeds of crime.
The woman was charged with driving while disqualified and trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis and is due to face ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday.
